Who Am I
Hi, I’m Stephanie. Born in Cameroon, I grew up in diverse cultural settings before completing my Master’s in Psychology in Germany, specializing in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. My career has taken me from research roles in Germany to working in post-conflict settings, where I provided mental health support to displaced populations and local communities through programs aimed at addressing critical psychological needs. These experiences have deepened my commitment to promoting mental health and delivering compassionate care to those who need it most, regardless of their circumstances.
I Love Working With
In everyone’s life, difficult situations and crises can push one’s limits. Sometimes, seeking professional help is the best step forward. I am passionate about supporting you in finding your path and navigating your personal situation. I love working with clients of all ages, as each person is unique and brings their own experiences and perspectives. I particularly enjoy working with children, partnering with them to discover ways to handle difficulties while involving parents, siblings and schools. Adolescents face many challenges, from physical changes to social struggles, and I am dedicated to helping them develop their personality and identity. Equally, I find great fulfillment in working with adults, assisting them in achieving their goals and aspirations. My treatment focuses on anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, burnout, OCD, sleep disorder, adjustment disorders, and life crises.
Some of My Favorite Approaches
I offer evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), a practical and goal-focused approach that helps you build on your strengths and find effective solutions. To ensure the best possible support, I integrate the latest research and techniques from various psychotherapy approaches, creating a holistic and personalized experience. My expertise also includes the Plan Analysis method developed by Caspar, a powerful tool for understanding and addressing individual patterns and needs. Together, we’ll work towards meaningful and lasting change tailored to your unique situation.
How I Can Help
Our work together starts with your aspirations and values, which serve as a guiding compass for the changes you want to make. In challenging times, it’s natural for our focus to shift toward what we want to avoid, often leaving our goals out of sight. However, reconnecting with your long-term aspirations can uncover hidden strengths and provide the motivation needed to move forward.
Behavioral therapy offers tools to break free from unhelpful patterns of thought and behavior, tap into your inner resources, and align your actions with your goals through practical, effective strategies. My approach is holistic and humanistic, rooted in mindfulness and empowering you to become your own strongest ally.
To me, psychotherapy is about more than overcoming obstacles—it’s about reconnecting with yourself, embracing growth, and finding peace in who you are while building a path toward who you want to become.
I believe
I strongly believe in the resilience of every human being. I aim to understand your challenges and identify your strengths and resources. Therapy is about personal change with professional support. I respect your perceptions, values, and goals in a non-judgmental way, helping you resolve future difficulties more independently. I ensure quality therapy through regular supervision and further training.
What it’s like in a Session with Me
In session with me, we work as equals. You are the expert on your life and decide what you would like to achieve in therapy, while I support you transparently, using scientifically proven methods. The therapeutic relationship and empathy are very important to me, as they form the foundation of effective therapy. Together we analyze your difficulties and find solutions setting out on a path to a better life. I strive to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere where you can communicate openly and feel understood. We continuously evaluate and adjust the therapy process as needed.
